Staff access to UTS student systems is governed by a formalised protocol endorsed by the Registrar and the Senior Management Team.
Student systems play an increasing role in the day to day activities of administrative staff across UTS. The capabilities of these systems are continually advancing to deliver integrated management and support to the student administration business processes.
The integrated nature and capability of the new generation of student systems places an increased role for system training and support. The system access protocol deems that all system access must be preceded by appropriate training. All requests for system access must be approved and signed off by a senior member of staff, authorized to undertake this role by the Registrar. In addition, all staff requesting access to UTS student systems must complete a staff declaration form.
